 7:00 a.m.—7:30 a.m. – Race Day Registration & Packet Pick Up

7:15 a.m. – Welcome and Opening Announcements, National Anthem and Presentation of Colors — Junior ROTC

7:30 a.m. – 1 mile Fun Walk

7:45 a.m. – Mascot Race

7:50 a.m. – 5K starts

8:00 a.m.- 10K starts

8:45 a.m. – 5K awards

9:15 a.m. – 10K awards

9:30 a.m. – Group Contest Winners and Last Man Running Results Announcement

Top Finishers 5K (Male & Female) by age: 5-9. 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & over

Top Finishers 10K (Male & Female) by age: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over

 

Be Healthy Burleson Community Contest

The City of Burleson’s Be Healthy Initiative is donating a total of $1,500 to local health and wellness charities. $500 will be donated to the top 3 groups who have the most registrations at the Be Healthy Burleson 5K/10K/Fun Walk. The tops groups will choose which health and wellness charity they would like to donate to. In order to be eligible for the contest, your group must have at least 25 members. Individuals must enter the designated group name when they register to be counted in the contest.

Last Man Running Contest

Be Healthy Burleson will be donating to local health/wellness related organizations through the annual “Last Man Running” contest. In the Last Man Running contest, the participants will start at the very end of the line of run participants. For every person they pass during the course, Be Healthy Burleson will donate $5 to a health/wellness related organization of their choice. Our 2019 Last Man Running participants are:

Burleson ISD board trustee, Mike Ancy (5K Last Man Running)

Mayor of Kennedale, Brian Johnson  (10K Last Man Running)
