Be Healthy Burleson Certification Program

A community cannot thrive when its citizens are not choosing a healthy way of life.  Health problems affect our quality of life and productivity, making Be Healthy Burleson a vital priority for businesses, families, and community leaders. With that in mind, the Be Healthy Burleson Initiative has created a program that will encourage the entire community to implement healthy practices. We hope to create a healthier environment in all aspects of the Burleson community so that our residents may live a longer, happier, and healthier life. The Be Healthy Burleson Board of Directors have created certification programs for: Restaurants, Schools, Businesses, Congregations and Grocery stores. Please review the following steps to start your organization on the right track to health!

STEP 1: APPLY – To apply for the program, simply go to the certification tab on the home page and fill out the form that best fits your organization.

STEP 2: NOTIFICATION – After you submit your application, a Be Healthy Burleson team member will contact you to determine if your organization has earned a Be Healthy Burleson certification level (Bronze, Silver, Gold).

STEP 3 (optional): REQUEST FUNDING – After you apply and find that your organization needs funding to achieve any level of certification, please fill out our Grant Application Form.

STEP 4: BECOME CERTIFIED – After the application process, your organization will be awarded with a certificate to display that recognizes you as a “Be Healthy Burleson Certified”. Your organization will also be promoted through Be Healthy Burleson events, our website and social media outlets as a healthy place to work, eat, shop, go to school, enjoy fellowship etc.
